It's been a trying time since
September. My 95 year old, World War II Veteran father, George
Faust, broke his hip at assisted living, and things went downhill
from there. He passed away on October 12th. Fortunately, he was
surrounded by family in his final days.
We had two memorial services for him, the first in Colorado where he
was living for the past 6 years.
The 2nd was in Chicago, where we took his ashes to be placed next to
my Mom at the cemetery.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to those two services. The
Colorado service was online, and we had people watching from all
over the U.S. and as far away as Sweden and England.
My Dad would have been incredibly surprised and proud.

The

Those of you who know
me, or saw my Dad sing on stage with me over the years, know how
close we were, and how much he meant to me.
He was truly my hero, and I'll miss him until the day I join him in
Heaven, where we can sing together again...
Thanks to everyone who
came to my Chicago show last week and made it such an amazing time.
In the midst of worries over Covid, we still had about 100 people,
and the energy was tremendous.
I'm already looking forward to doing it again in November of 2022!
My annual Bucksnort Christmas show this Saturday, December 4th, from 1-4 PM. It's always a really fun time.
I'm also contemplating
an online Christmas show from my house sometime in December. The one
I did in 2020 was one of my most well-attended and I had a blast
doing it.
